My journey in sales began in the classroom in Morocco. As a child, I traded comic books with other students without realizing I was already learning the fundamentals of business—understanding value, negotiating, communicating, and recognizing what people wanted. Sales wasn’t something I discovered later in life. It had been part of me from the beginning.
I don’t come from a traditional path. I come from execution—from selling on the floor to building businesses, losing them, and rebuilding again. I sold jewelry and accessories, VIP experiences in Las Vegas, automobiles, and real estate. I also built an import-export business, working directly with multimillion-dollar companies in China.
But selling was never only about closing a deal. It taught me to understand people, identify what they truly need, and work toward the best possible outcome for everyone involved. To me, selling is communication, value, negotiation, and the art of creating solutions.
Real estate wasn’t simply another sales career for me. I built my experience through cold calls, door-knocking, meeting homeowners, studying properties, and helping people navigate decisions connected to their homes, finances, and futures.
Working directly with sellers taught me that every property has numbers—but every homeowner has a different story. My responsibility is to understand both, separate the person from the problem, and help identify the best possible outcome for their individual situation.
That hands-on experience ultimately inspired me to build Propesti: real estate tools shaped by what I learned in the field, one conversation and one property at a time.
